| Dear Max | I am excited to announce that we will release a brand new app called myIDgo. It allows airline employees to book hotels (and from July on Rental Cars as well) at the lowest prices available to employees of our industry.
It provides - Exclusive deals for myIDTravel users and airline staff
- More than 7.000.000 hotel offers worldwide
- Cheapest hotel offers from more than 600 connected hotel reservation systems
- More than 50.000 rental car locations worldwide (coming in July)
- Cheapest car offers from more than 2.000 connected rental car providers (coming in July)
- Show your myIDTravel Leisure tickets and PNRs in myIDgo (*)
- All booking confirmations in one place, even when you are offline
- Location information and points of interest (coming soon)
- Recommended travel locations / hotel deals (coming soon)
- (*) if you as the airline do not prohibit your employees from using this feature.
We will release the app within the US and Canada on June 28th 2021 in the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore.
In addition, we will provide a link to these app stores under a new menu item “myIDgo” within myIDTravel. Your employees will be able to see their myIDTravel bookings in myIDgo in a read only mode. Any ID flight bookings and changes will continue to happen exclusively in myIDTravel.
Since the app is exclusively for airline employees, your employees will need an airline email address for registering.
As part of the rollout of myIDgo, we will discontinue the support of “myStay” bookings effective August 1st 2021.
