Hello cloud and containers enthusiasts,

Let's start with news that registration is now open for the 2023 Call for Code Global Challenge! Entering its sixth year, Call for Code has four opportunities this year for developers to address sustainability problems with AI and hybrid cloud. Teams compete for prizes in each Challenge Round and at the end of the year, all winners compete for grand prizes. The first round runs through 7 April, so register for the Challenge today.

Featured in this month's newsletter are open source tools that monitor app availability in Red Hat OpenShift clusters and enable effective observability for cloud-native apps. Also, see how AI can help break up legacy, monolithic applications into microservices, and learn what the various Ops acronyms are and how they fit together.
